Risk Management Practitioner Certificate Program - Workers' Compensation
PRISM has partnered with CJPIA and CPS HR to offer five(5), half-day virtual training courses, which provide the building blocks to establish, develop and embed risk management as a business process in your public sector organization. Click for the description of all 5 courses.
This workshop will help public entity practitioners understand the purpose and history of Workers’ Compensation and gain a deep understanding of the legal work that includes enforcement agencies and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB). Participants will learn how to effectively administer standard workers’ compensation and employer’s liability policies within their agencies. This will include claims administration issues such as record-keeping, reserving, and various audits, such as state, independent, excess, and employer audits.
This is a blended learning course that incorporates an e-Learning lesson. You will receive an e-Learning link three weeks before the class start date that needs to be completed prior to your live virtual training.
A link to the live virtual training will be e-mailed to you before the training date.
