Guest host Charles Williams, PRISM Director of Risk Control and Jamie Bloom, Sonoma County Insurance Manager, will discuss Liability Exposures to be aware of as well as measures that may be deployed to help mitigate liability.  Here’s a snapshot of what’s to come:

• First and third party property damage
• Public Health obligations
• Violations of law related to City of Boise decision
• Violation of other legal obligations
• ADA Accommodation requests
• Private property related response for service (penal codes for trespass)

Action for Consideration

• Response timing
• Develop IMDT (Inter Dept. Multi-disciplinary Team)
• Inter Entity cooperation (between county and cities)
• Third party run/managed shelters
• Safety protocols for IMDT teams
• Budgeting for cleaning  of hotels etc.
