It’s Time to Conduct Your SIR Analysis
PRISM has negotiated rates to help you

It’s no secret that public entities are seeking rate and premium relief as budgets continue to tighten. Now is the time of year that most PRISM members conduct their actuarial studies. To support our EWC and GL Program members in managing their premiums, PRISM has negotiated a special arrangement with Bickmore Actuarial.

For an additional $1,100 on top of their standard actuarial study rate, Bickmore can enhance your study to include a Self-Insured Retention (SIR) analysis and a five-year historical review. You may also use your available subsidy to cover the cost of this service. Once Bickmore has completed the study, please reach out to Virginia Blanco, PRISM Underwriting Specialist or your Alliant Insurance Services assigned broker with any requested SIR changes.

Act now… by conducting your actuarial study now, members will have time to work with PRISM staff and your Alliant broker to review the analysis and make SIR change decisions prior to the June 1st, 2026 cut-off date.

If you have questions for PRISM staff, please contact Sarah Bishop, Underwriting Manager. To learn more, or to engage Bickmore Actuarial to perform an actuarial study, please contact Mike Harrington or Nina Gau. Alternatively, they can be reached by calling (916) 244-1160. Visit their website at www.bickmoreactuarial.net.
PRISM "Member Needs" Survey
We need YOU – to help us serve you better!

At PRISM, we always strive to meet members where they are, with service and resource offerings to help you manage risk as effectively as possible. During every interaction, we are listening – and we learn a lot from you, face-to-face.

The PRISM Member Needs Survey is another opportunity to share what’s happening in your agency and where you need the most support. Your feedback will help guide the services, training, and resources we focus on moving forward.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey today! The survey is closing Friday, September 26th. For any questions, please reach out to Tani Corona.
