COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K-12 Schools in California
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued new guidance for K-12 Schools in California that applies the July 9, 2021 recommendations from the Center for Disease Control within the context of the California regulatory environment to help K-12 schools formulate and implement plans for safe, successful, and full in-person instruction in the 2021-22 school year. School Districts should review the updated guidance to ensure their plans for fall reopening are in alignment. School Districts also need to keep in mind that they will be required to comply with the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS), and in some circumstances, the Cal/OSHA Aerosol Transmissible Diseases Standard may apply.

PRISM staff will continue to monitor CDPH guidance for K-12 Schools and share resources as they become available.
