New Vector Solutions Course - Cal/OSHA Respiratory Protection
The latest installment of the Cal/OSHA series is now ready for assignment on the Vector Solutions platform. Cal/OSHA Respiratory Protection focuses on the training requirements outlined in the California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 8 5144, equipping learners with the knowledge and skills to safely navigate work environments with airborne contaminants that necessitate the use of respirators. This course delves into various respirator types, their appropriate usage, as well as maintenance and care procedures. Please note that voluntary respirator use is not covered in this course; however, this is addressed in a separate Vector Solutions course titled PRISM: Voluntary Respirator Use Training: Filtering Facepiece Respirators (a.k.a. N95). Furthermore, school districts have the option to include their own respiratory protection policy, requiring employees to review their specific workplace policies as part of the training. For any inquiries regarding access to the Vector Solutions LMS, the course itself, or attaching policies, please contact Risk Control.
