Special Education Training Resources Available

Did you know Vector Solutions offers a range of courses on its platform to help reduce risk for teachers and paraprofessionals who work with students with disabilities? These courses encompass topics like de-escalation techniques, alternatives to restraint, and the correct use of personal protective equipment. To learn more about these courses, please refer to the online catalog or contact Risk Control for further assistance.
New Vector Solutions Course - Cal/OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens 
We have teamed up with Vector Solutions to create a series of courses designed to help PRISM members fulfill their Cal/OSHA training obligations. The inaugural course in this series, Cal/OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, is now available for assignment on the Vector Solutions platform. This course helps satisfy the training requirements set forth in Cal/OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogen standard and provides learners with the necessary knowledge to work safely when exposed to blood and other potentially infectious materials. Employers can also include their Bloodborne Pathogens policy, which addresses the requirement that employees review their particular workplace policy as part of the course. Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT)
Last year the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced new ELDT compliance requirements for individuals attempting to obtain or upgrade a commercial driver's license.  PRISM has partnered with Vector Solutions to offer a suite of 30 courses that meet the FMCSA theory (classroom) requirements. It is important to note that the behind the wheel training portion is the responsibility of the agency. As an authorized provider listed on the FMCSA's Training Provider Registry, upon successful course completion results are automatically submitted to the FMCSA. The 30-course package is now available on the Vector Solutions platform for PRISM members at a negotiated rate. Please contact Risk Control for additional information.
