New Vector Solutions Course: Unconscious Bias
PRISM members asked, and Risk Control partnered with Vector Solutions to deliver a new online class: Unconscious Bias. This class provides detailed insight into unconscious bias (also known as implicit bias), the ways in which we gain our biases, as well as how we often display them. Understanding that we all have bias is one aspect of this course but also finding ways to mitigate bias as we navigate the workplace. PRISM has a new message board! Tech Talk is the place to ask fellow PRISM members what they are doing about cyber security, cyber risk, or other IT issues. On October 21, 2022, PRISM will be releasing a new on-demand webcast by the Eyres Law Group: Annual Legislative Recap: New Laws that Impact the Public Sector in 2022 and Beyond. This webcast will focus on the most relevant requirements in employment and education law, including how to update policies and enhance procedures. Attention will be given to the most relevant new standards in the context of compliance basics, necessary updates to policies and procedures for personnel management and risk control, and proactive enforcement strategies.
