Pollution Program: Mandatory Claims Reporting by June 30, 2021
The PRISM Pollution and Remediation Legal Liability policy placed with Illinois Union (Chubb) expires on July 1, 2021. We have been notified by Chubb that they will be non-renewing the program. A thorough and extensive marketing effort has been underway, seeking coverage with a new insurance carrier. The Pollution Program is written on a “Claims Made and Reported” coverage form which means that all claims and known incidents that could give rise to a claim must be reported to the insurance carrier during the policy period in order for coverage to apply.

An email will be sent to each Pollution Program member this week by Alliant. Please be sure to thoroughly read this as it pertains to the very important deadline of June 30, 2021 to report claims. If you have any questions please contact Armando Vieyra.
