EAGLE Award Applications Due July 15th
The EAGLE Awards recognize members for their innovative ideas, best practices, and programs. Over the years we have had a variety of winners from ergonomic training programs, threat assessment groups, collaborative programs with law enforcement, many Covid related projects, and many more. If your entity has done something innovative in the arena of risk management, submit your EAGLE Award application before July 15th!

Safety Management Certification
Congratulations to the latest student to complete PRISM’s Safety Management Certification—an intensive five-part safety training course. Chelsea Dwinell of Shasta County completed the trainings on topics such as the basics of accident investigation all the way to developing effective control measures that prevent employees from having injuries and illnesses.
 
Students can choose to complete single classes or all five to receive the full certification, like Chelsea. Learn more about PRISM’s Safety Management Certification.
Crime Program – Impersonation Fraud Coverage Sublimit Reminder
The Crime Program Member Proposals went out on Thursday, June 2nd. For those members that do not currently purchase Impersonation Fraud coverage, a supplemental questionnaire was provided in the case that your entity would like to obtain this coverage. This coverage is subject to carrier approval and additional premium will apply. The completed questionnaire must be turned in no later than June 20th. Members that were previously approved for the $500,000 sublimit, do not need to complete another questionnaire. Please reach out to Mariana Salyer at Alliant Insurance Services with any questions.
