PRISM Board Elects New President, Vice President
At last week’s Board of Directors meeting, the Board elected Heather Rose, with Mendocino County, to the President position, and elected Barbara Lubben, with Yolo County, to the Vice President position.  Due to these elections, there was a vacancy on the Executive Committee, and the Board elected Tanya Moreno, with San Joaquin County, to fill that vacancy. With these elections, the Executive Committee no longer has any vacancies. 
Still Time to Register: Stress Management Police Under Pressure
There is still time to register for next week's Stress Management: Police Under Pressure in person course in Hanford. Law Enforcement attendees will walk away with practical tools to deal with stress, the benefits of utilizing a Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program, and the benefits of utilizing a peer support program. POST ID must be provided upon registration.

EWC & GL1 SIR Reporting Deadline May 1, 2023 
At the March 3rd Board of Directors meeting, recommendations from the Executive Committee requiring EWC and GL1 members to report SIR changes prior on or before May 1, 2023 were approved. The purpose of this deadline is to lessen the potential impact of a large number of SIR changes on overall program allocations. PRISM staff is encouraging members to submit SIR option requests prior to April 14th, and is ready to assist members with any questions

Latest Graduate of Safety Management Certification
Congratulations to the latest Safety Management Certification graduate, Brian Teig of Riverside County. This intensive, five-part safety training course covers everything from the basics of accident investigation all the way to developing effective control measures that prevent employees from having injuries and illnesses. Brian completed all five of the courses, and passed a comprehensive exam.

FMCSA Biennial Update
If your agency has a USDOT number and operates under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, you are responsible for updating your information with the FMCSA every two years. Read more on PRISM's blog.
