Complete all courses. Take the final exam. Earn the Safety Management Certificate from PRISM!

Each course will be held via Zoom, enabling great interaction with the course presenter: Juan Cajandig, PRISM Sr. Risk Control Specialist. There is no cost for PRISM Members and their employees.  Each of the following courses includes coursework and exams:

• Accident Investigation for Supervisors Part 1 / Part 2
• Safety and the Supervisor / Learning to use GISOs
• Workers' Compensation for Supervisors
• Safety Management-- What is it?
• Developing Effective Control Measures

Earning the Safety Management Certification:

Homework

• Homework assignments must be completed and meet the standards outlined in the course learning objectives. 

End-of-course Exam

• Students must achieve a passing score of 80% or higher on the end-of-course exam to receive a certificate of completion. 

Final SMC Exam

• Students who successfully complete all five SMC courses are eligible to take the Final SMC Exam. 
• The Final SMC Exam is a comprehensive exam that measures the students’ knowledge of the learning objectives from all five courses. 
• Students who pass the Final SMC Exam will receive the SMC Certificate.
• SMC graduates will have their accomplishment highlighted in the PRISM’s ELink.
