Earthquake Awareness

August 28th, 2012

Given the recent earthquake activity in Southern California we want to take the time to provide our members with some information on Emergency Preparedness. Below are some links to help you plan, pack emergency supplies, and be ready when a serious earthquake strikes:

We also want to remind members that many of you have earthquake coverage through our property program. We recommend that you take a few minutes to review your coverage and familiarize yourselves with the claims reporting procedures.

In the event of a loss, property claims should be reported to Robert Frey or Diana Walizada at Alliant Insurance Services utilizing this form (PDF):
CSAC Excess Insurance Authority Property Loss Report

The form may also be found on the EIA website under the “Resources” tab in the EIA Documents folder under claims forms.

Should you need any assistance with the claims process you may also call Brad Reager or Jack Blyskal at the EIA. They can be reached at (916) 850-7300.
