Overview

This three-hour seminar will feature presentations from four healthcare attorneys on topics of interest to public entity healthcare providers and their staff.  We will feature presentations on dealing with difficult patients, managing adverse events ("what to do when things go wrong") and new legislation affecting minor consent, confidentiality, involuntary mental health care, and 42 CFR Part 2.  There is no cost to attend the webinar.

Continuing Education Credit:  Three (3) hours of continuing education credit (CE’s) will be offered to attendees who attend the live webinar who are licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Board of Vocational Nursing, and Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LEP), and to substance use disorder treatment professionals certified with agencies affiliated with CADTP and CAADE.
