Employee Benefits Committee

Description of Committee

  • Nine member committee, including
  • Seven voting and two alternate committee members, with
  • One designated public entity representative voting seat
  • Typically meets 2 to 3 times a year, with at least 1 meeting at the PRISM office
  • Majority of the members of the Employee Benefits Committee must be participants in the Dental Program
  • Committee members are participants in the Employee Benefits Programs and generally have an employee benefits or human resources background
  • Advisory committee under the direction of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors

Responsibilities

  • Develops, evaluates and reviews all matters pertaining to the Employee Benefits programs
  • Makes recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board regarding existing programs
  • Makes recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board regarding development and implementation of new programs
