2025 Annual PRISM Medical Malpractice Program 

This three-hour webinar will provide updates on legal issues impacting public entity healthcare providers and their staff.  Among other things, we will cover:

• New California legislation increasing penalties for assault and battery against emergency department staff
• New telehealth prescribing rules
• Developments impacting mental health crisis care and substance use disorder treatment
• Information on new federal Final Rules changing HIPAA and Part 2 confidentiality regulations

Continuing Education Credit

• CA Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators
