Insurance Requirements in Contracts (IRIC) in Practice: Parks, Rec & Special Events
Overview
This webinar, presented by Conor Boughey of Alliant Insurance Services, focuses on evaluating risk and supporting agencies in planning for special events and recreational activities.
We’ll review the process for permitting special events and recreational activities, including contracts, hold harmless provisions, and insurance requirements. Key logistical considerations will also be covered, such as safety planning, street closures, and post-event cleanup.
Best practices, along with sample forms and processes, will be shared based on member feedback, including insights from an agency that hosts an annual event with over 300,000 attendees.
