Crisis Incident Support & Counseling
PRISM is partnered with The Counseling Team International (TCTI) to provide crisis incident response services to our members. Exposure to traumatic events can significantly impact an employee’s mental health, as well as their ability to safely perform their required job duties. TCTI is equipped with a team of mental health professionals (MHP) ready to respond when an agency’s employees experience traumatic workplace incidents.
TCTI offers a full range of crisis response and critical incident support services. From 24-hour crisis response to onsite critical incident support, to scheduled debriefings, TCTI’s team of expertly trained crisis clinicians are available to support your agency when any type of immediate support is needed.
Crisis incident response services offered by TCTI are always accessible, having two clinicians available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year for calls that require immediate attention. During business hours, calls will be answered by a member of our clerical staff who has been trained in crisis intervention. The clerical staff will ensure that a qualified MHP will respond to the entity, as requested. After-hour calls will be automatically transferred to TCTI’s answering service. The caller will be assured that a clinician will return the call within 15 minutes and will render the services that the entity requests.
Our team of ICISF trained crisis clinicians can facilitate a wide range of crisis incident response services, either in a group setting or for an individual. These interventions help impacted employees to understand the common reaction to trauma, process traumatic events, and become aware of resources available to them:
