The Life & Disability Program offers a suite of Life, AD&D, Supplemental Life and Disability coverage options. Offered through Voya and Lincoln Financial, program benefits include custom plan designs, pooled renewals and contract enhancements specific to public entities. Additionally, through the PRISM Life & Disability program, members receive value added services related to EAP and travel assistance.

Group Voluntary Benefits

Group Voluntary Benefits (GVB) option allows members the option to offer the following on a voluntary basis:

• Critical Illness Insurance
  Helps offset unexpected healthcare expenses by providing a lump-sum benefit after a covered critical incident. The lump-sum can be used as the individual needs it, not just to cover out of pocket healthcare expenses.

• Accident Insurance
  Helps offset unexpected healthcare expenses by providing a lump-sum benefit after experiencing a covered accident.

• Hospital Indemnity Insurance
  Pays a daily benefit for a covered stay in the hospital. These benefits can be used to offset out of pocket healthcare expenses, but also as the individual sees fit.
