Trindel Insurance Fund

Trindel Insurance Fund (Trindel) is a Joint Powers Authority established pursuant to California Government Code Section 6500 et. seq. Membership is limited to California Counties, and there are currently eleven member Counties. Trindel is dedicated to assisting with the insurance needs of its members by providing the most stable, cost-effective, risk-financing mechanisms; insurance program monitoring; claims management and loss prevention services available.

This position will be located at the Trindel Insurance Fund office in beautiful Weaverville, California. About the Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Property and Liability Claims, the Property and Liability Claims Technician works in support to achieve the goals and objectives of the Trindel Insurance Fund Property and Liability Program. The Claims Technician will be responsible for establishing and monitoring property and liability claims in the claims management software; maintaining claim records; performing claims investigations when assigned; providing claims adjusting support to property and liability claims staff; proactively managing assigned case load; processing of legal and indemnity payments; initiating excess insurance reporting and reimbursement requests; preparing written notices and letters; and performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Property and Liability Claims.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $37,400 to $56,900 per year. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. A generous benefit package is available including health benefits, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, PERS retirement, deferred compensation program, sick leave, and vacation leave. Trindel employees do not pay into Social Security except for the Medicare portion of the cost.
