A Safety/Workplace Violence Prevention Analyst's responsibilities include: Consulting with departments to gain a full understanding of their operational requirements, environment, and safety/security programs. Coordinating county-wide safety and health programs such as Injury and Illness Prevention, Driver's Safety, Ergonomics, Emergency Action Planning, Hazard Communication, and Construction Safety. Advising management on safety program development strategies. Researching, interpreting, and applying regulations, rules, and policies to a wide range of safety and health topics. Preparing written recommendations, reports, and oral presentations.
