On January 8, 2021 Cal/OSHA published responses to frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) associated with the recently adopted COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standard. The majority of these FAQ’s were taken from questions posed by stakeholders during the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board (OSHSB) forum conducted on December 18, 2020.
In an effort to maintain compliance, PRISM members subject to this standard are encouraged to keep abreast of the regulatory landscape surrounding the COVID-19 Prevention standard. Members should also be prepared to further refine their policies and procedures as the standard and its interpretation continues to evolve. To assist with this, PRISM will continue to post updates as information becomes available. Additionally, members can sign up for email communication directly from the OSHSB.
