In an effort to increase cybersecurity efforts and better protect the data found within the Clearinghouse, the FMCSA is requiring all FMCSA Account Holders to transition their login from the FMCSA portal to Employers and drivers should all make this transition before December 31st to ensure they have continued access to their Clearinghouse accounts. Starting January 1st, a account will be required to access the Clearinghouse.

In order to create a account and access the FMCSA Clearinghouse, follow this guide. Each user will be required to enter in the email address associated with their Clearinghouse account and set a new password. In addition to setting a new password, each account holder will also be required to select a method of two-factor authentication.
