PRISM's Property Committee Implements New Application Deadline to Provide Members with Earlier Estimated Premiums
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the renewal process and provide members with earlier initial estimated premiums, staff will implement an earlier renewal timeline for the 2027/2028 Property Program. Renewal applications were previously due on November 1st, and now must be completed by August 1st.
Moving the renewal process up allows staff and Alliant to work more proactively with our carrier partners, secure the most competitive terms available, and provide additional time to review submissions, address questions, and resolve any outstanding items before estimates are sent to Program members and coverage renewals are finalized. Beginning the process with applications due to be completed by August 1st will provide you with the initial estimated premiums earlier, which can be used in your preliminary budgets. This timeline will also reduce last-minute delays and ensure a smoother, more efficient experience for everyone involved.
