The County of Santa Barbara's County Executive Office, Risk Management Division, is currently accepting applications to fill one (1) full-time vacancy in Santa Barbara. The candidate selected for this vacancy will bring a high level of professionalism, knowledge, and energy to the team. The Disability Manager acts under the direction of the Risk Manager and coordinates the County of Santa Barbara's disability management program by ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other laws, regulations, and policies, and serving as a resource to County departments.
Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, public administration, or related field and five (5) years of experience in working in disability management, preferably with a unionized non-profit or public agency. A Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or related field is preferred, but not required. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
